Kareen King is a Drama Therapist who supervises the activities program at Brookside Retirement Community in Overbrook, KS. She is also a singer/song-writer who has recorded four albums with her sibling group, Awake! Awake! and has served as worship leader of Twin Lakes Fellowship since 1989. Her first solo album entitled The Person in the Picture Ain’t Me. The album features songs inspired by her work at Brookside, providing the listener an opportunity to walk in the shoes of those who have spent the last season of their lives in a nursing home.
